What we collect, and why

Last updated: August 23, 2026

This notice describes what QuantaCanvas currently collects and why. It will be updated if the way the product handles data changes.

Prompts you submit

When you enter a prompt, we send it to Google's Gemini API to generate your visualization. We also store the prompt text associated with the generation so we can understand how the tool is being used and improve QuantaCanvas.

Please do not include passwords, contact information, or other personal or sensitive information in your prompts. Treat the prompt box like a public search box.

An anonymous identifier

When you first use the tool, your browser generates a random identifier. This identifier is used to apply usage limits.

It is not intended to identify you by name, email address, or other personal information.

IP address

We temporarily log the IP address associated with requests to detect and prevent automated abuse. IP addresses are automatically deleted after 3 days and are not used for tracking, profiling, or advertising.

Analytics

QuantaCanvas uses Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to understand general website usage and performance. These services are designed to provide aggregated information about things such as page usage and site performance.

QuantaCanvas may also use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies. Where required, analytics collection is subject to your consent preferences.

Who else sees this data

QuantaCanvas uses third-party services to operate the product:

We do not sell your personal information or use your information for advertising.

Your options

You can use QuantaCanvas without creating an account or providing your name or email address. Because QuantaCanvas uses anonymous identifiers rather than accounts, we may not always be able to identify data associated with a particular person. If you believe you have submitted personal or sensitive information through the tool, you can contact us and provide any relevant details that may help us locate it. We will review the request and take appropriate action where possible.
